Interested in doing some further learning around interesting topics in physics? Some of these links are relevant to your courses, some of them not. They are all very interesting none the less. Let your teacher know if you have read or watched anything that you would like to share here.
FURTHER Reading
Good reads by Prof. Brian Cox - Two of my favourite books on quantum mechanics. Written in a way that is easy to follow (most of the time!), and provides an insight into such theories as the origin of the universe and the concept of spacetime. Some of the facts presented in these books will truly change your perception of the world around you.
If a webcomic artist, that knows lots about Maths and Physics, answered all those ridiculous questions you ask, this is what you get.
The questions are great and the answers are even better. |
NASA photo of the day. Interesting images and descriptions.

Further Watching
Brian Cox 'Supercollider' - A talk on the Large Hadron Collider at CERN. Amazing machine, sure to change what we know, or think we know, about the universe!

The Mystery of Dark Matter - Dark matter and dark energy make up 96% of our universe and yet we have no way of directly interacting with it. This presentation discusses the evidence for the 'dark universe' in a clear and concise manner.
